Live Trapping coons North Idaho

Looking for a good area to live a trap a coon for some pup training. I live near Hayden Idaho and don't see very many road kills around, so maybe there just aren't very many coons around????????

I catch most of mine from garbage cans around in town. If you can find a dumpster that backs up to a creek put a hostess cupcake in the trap, and put it behind the dumpster. I usually catch one before they figure out how to get the bait out without getting caught.

Not very many places close with good coon population. Might try hayden lake. Or spirit lake. Good luck.

Trailer Parks!!!! the ones with the most ppl and the SMALLEST trash cans! I kid you not i live in the mountains.. not a lot of coon around other than the ones i trap to train my lion dog. i NEVER miss at the trailer park!!!
PS im an "amature hounder" and thats where i fine all my training coons
