gary, daisy did good today!

went out this morning freecasting into some rough country with minn, trix, runt, and daisy. never got a track going but dogs never trashed either and pups really got out so was good time.

some pics from just upstream of last dam on missouri river, gavins point dam. lake is a big one, lewis and clark lake.




decided cant get skunked on a sunday so skipped super bowl party and went out at dark. went to nice creek with same dogs and bout 400 yards out three black dogs struck and ran nice warm track over 400 yards to big tree. little blue daisy got right to em and started opening 100 yards from tree. she tracked good and treed for a bit. i walked in from half mile and she come and greeted me but went back to tree and barked here and there. i was happy and shot nice coon out. only problem was creek crossing was waist deep so my hunt was over!!! 18 degrees and soaking wet dont go well together.

Looks like she will really be firing in a couple more outings. Mine are not as picky as I had just the pups out for a jog and they will run anything that makes a track at this time. I did have the Tritronics on them so that I could shut things down when I wanted. Dang it looks cold in those photos.

yeah cant complain if they wanna go. LOL. i havent put a ecollar on daisy yet she listens so good and calls in perfect. will keep you posted!
