looking for coon or bear hunters in central ca i have some young dogs that need to run with some older experianced dogs and would like to meet some other hound hunters lost my private property to hunt due to fish and game giveing my partner and I a false ticket that got thrown out because we didnt break any laws so he got mad and told the ranches we were poachers he use to work for me and has been after me sence he became a warden now i have to find public land to hunt and dont know were to go would like to find some other hounds men to let me tag along i dont care to kill just want to run my dogs

Alot of houndsmen dont jump to the opportunity to help out new comers for some stupid reason, if you were in montana id take you out tonight! But i cant help you down in cali.

I hunt 99% public ground. what i did was go down to the local BLM office in town and started going through maps, looking for areas of state land that ran along rivers, streams, etc. Id go scout them out in the day find where the coons were, and go from there. For now just keep them young dogs in the woods! I had to build my dogs from the ground up, its easier with the help of older dogs, but that option is not always available. I hope you find some ground to hunt and get them dogs going. happy hunting

Ouch that sucks! Start with filing a harassment complaint through his CO and make sure it's in his file! Explain everything that happened.
Where you out of? I'm down by Fresno. I run hogs but most my buddies run bear, coon and varmint.

Im in the fresno area and wouldnt mind if you wanted to hunt with us. The more the merrier.
