News from Tampico, Mexico

I received an email from my friend Hector down in Tampico. It has cooled off a little and he has been able to hunt his hounds a little. He says that Sally (from here) and Julie (gyp from Guy Ormiston) are doing well. Told the story about treeing in a big cedar and having to use a machete to cut brush from around the tree just to shine it.
He shot the coon out but it hit the ground in fairly good condition and was more than the young ladies wanted for about 10 minutes. After both received laserations, they subdued the big boar coon.
It was great to hear from him for I begin to worry if I do not hear from him for long periods of time. It remains dangerous down there as the cartels seem to have the upperhand. One of these days, I hope to be able to travel safely into Mexico as I did years ago.
Adios,
Gary
