Postby VARMIT HUNTER » Fri Mar 22, 2013 9:06 pm

I am having good luck with these dogs 2- are 3/16 running walker x 5/16 bluetick x 1/2 leopard,2-are 1/2 redbone x 1/4 english x 1/4 trigg,1- 1/4 redbone x 1/2 english x 1/4 trigg. have real good luck with them and yes they will stay treed all night if need be and are pretty dog gone accurate, only went to 3 trees that where slick all season ironically 1 of the slick trees happened after bragging on my dogs to a buddy of mine.

Any one else hunt these type crosses?

I hunt a half plott 1/4 treeing walker 1/4 running walker and I wouldn't give him up for the world, he's a bear dog at heart but a solid coon dog that don't tree slick. He loves cats too, we have a female half treeing half running Walker, neither of them will leave a tree, we're gonna breed them this winter and to a July female. Had nothing but luck with this, but it still takes good dogs to make it work
