I hate to complain about the amount of rain here but it makes work terrible and running hounds next to impossible for us. This is the first time in my life that I can ever remember getting rain like this. It is a thunder storm every single night, bringing with it a half inch.

We will gladly trade some of this dry wind for any amount of moisture you will send us.
Adios

I tell you what, you can hang on to that wind and you can have this moisture. We another 3/4 in again today and we are supposed to have bad thunderstorms all night long. I can't take in any longer.

1/2 inch sounds like a typical NW day?? Maybe I'm different, but I enjoy the rainy weather. Warm days, just makes me want to sit in the house by the A/C, I'm actually not looking forward to summer. Now on a Rainy or Overcast Day.. I'm ready to get out and hunt, My absolute favorite time to Deer hunt is about the Most misserable Wet sloppy hunt you can imagine I love it gets me excited just thinking about it... AS far as Hounds, I don't like it wet enough that it washes a track out, it does make it more difficult.. but We've Been to several trees in heavy rain that you couldn't look up without getting Rain drops in your eyes.
Guess it's just quirky NW thing..

We haven't had much here but it looks like a nasty storm coming my way moving NE out of Iowa and that region.

Unless it is pouring.. the dogs go out... they are developing webbed feet

I guess all this rain just makes a guy nervous anymore, beings it never rains in here in Nebraska, but when it does it is either more than we want or not enough to even acknowledge.
