If this has been talked about already I apologize, not the greatest with these computers.

I got a pair if Walker Foxhounds pups coming from some good dogs that catch a lot if coyotes, not just bark behind them. I'm wanting to run coon/fox/bobcat just for fun sorta all around varmint dogs. Do y'all think they will tree at all or do I need a tree dog with'em. I know there not ideal for this game but an old man who's health is fading fast wants me to have a pair of his pups . Thought they would be fun to use especially early morning day time hunting. Thanks

You should be fine. You may need to teach them to tree. They may or may not get the treeing. If you look down here in S. Texas thats about all you'll find for huonds. On the bright side, when they do tree you very seldom walk into a slick tree. I say go for it.

I would say the same, when we try to free cast and get on a coyote in early fall with our coyote dogs a lot of times we'll end up treeing coon, they'll learn to stay the more fur you shoot out to them, some never learn but the same goes for coon dogs, we hunt a lot of crosses now
