where are you in Nebraska?
I know of a fellow in the south central that will have a litter soon out of GOOD coondogs.

Lincoln is where I live but I work on a farm out by Denton so that is where I'd hunt and prolly the dog would be most of the time

thanks for the call bud. glad to hear your enthusiasm for the sport! i talked to my buddy little south of lincoln and he said anytime will take you for a hunt. i think that would be the best first step. he has great dogs and should be fun.

next litter i have your first in line for a pup but if you find something sooner thats great as well. i will hollar soon. later, matt.

mnb&t,

That was very nice of you to help this young man get a foot in the door with an experienced hunter in his area. Husker sure has the fire for now, hope it doesn't burn itself out. Husker if you read this, don't forget the hounders that have been so free with good advice and so willing to help someone new to the sport, I don't think you will, and when you get the chance to help someone new after you have been in the sport for a few years, pass the courtesy along. We are all in this game together as dog people, whether it be coon, bear, hogs, deer, or fowl and we had better keep our ranks tight because there are a lot of people that want dog hunting gone.
