Kevin,
I appreciate the hunt big time! Can't tell ya enough how cool it was to take a couple strangers out coonin with not much notice. I didn't say much during tha hunt, but that was only because I was soaking in tha good work those red dogs were doing. Hope your buddy gets that pup crankin and good luck this lion season.
Thanks again,
John Rickley

You guys are welcome to come back any time. Should have been here last night. First drop the dogs got treed pretty quick at about 150 yards with a coon. Next drop they got in the corn and it got western. They crunched three on the ground. Got the two females caught and my Buddy dog was 700 yards down the cornfield. I drove around and got within 70 feet of him. Jumped out of the truck to call him in and all hell broke loose. He caught another one right next to the truck. Pretty fun night. Dogs are muddy and a little tired. Their faces are raw and bloody and Buddy must have gotten bit in the foot. He's limping around. I'm going to head up home for a few days and do some bow hunting so they'll get a couple days of rest.

Thanks for the offer oneguy828. I used to make it out to the qualifier hunt in Philomath, OR in March every year. Haven't been out that way for a couple years. I have family down around Eugene. I need to get out there to see them sometime. That can be rough hunting in the blackberries out there.

I split time living in central and eastern Oregon. I move around a lot for work and school.
