I'm from Louisiana just got my first dog a kemmer cur. Any advice for first timer?

I'm in Louisiana. Never coon hunted before. Have a couple of hog dogs though. Where ya at in La if your close to me I know a couple of coonhunters I may be able to put ya in contact with

What breeding is he and breeder? Are you going to coon or hog hunt...they can be awesome hog dogs as well as squirrel and coon dogs.
