Just curious if anyone on here hunts around hermiston oregon or in areas with wild black berries and locus trees. We have been going out on the weekends here and are having a heck of a time locating and finding the coons in the tree. Any tips or tricks to sealing the deal on them dang coons. The other night they all three dogs were treeing hard in a black berry bush, two on the ground and one on top of the bush but we couldnt get the coon out of there or ever find it. they went from bush to bush. Then the dang locus trees the dogs would tree hard then move to the next tree and so on.

there aint crap a guy can do as far as bushes. ive lost many a coon to gettin in thick berry patches. bout the only thing you can do is leash the dogs up, circle the bush and hope the coon comes out somewhere else. as far a trees, ive got quite a few to look just squallin.

A Terrier and a coon in a berry bush make for a good time.... If the terrier can hold it for a min the big dogs can get there and help out..

i jsut went to the local sporting goods store and bought a primos coon squaller. i dont think it sounds anything like a coon, but ive got them to look with it. i just keep my squalls short, and kinda choppy. the hardest time to get them to look is a full moon, cause its real bright on there eyes...
