Last year Bart dog had trouble pinning down the coon in sloughs around here. Only way I could get a coon out of there was to cut them off. Alot tougher than it sounds. He could chase a coon in a slough all night. Now that his sidekick is older I hope to have this problem resolved.

I would say there was more than one and there was soooo much scent trails that the dogs where having a tough time figuring out where it was at. Then they finally sorted through all of them and trailed it out in to the other field where there was not as much scent trails and they caught up with the coon and found it. That would be my guess.
