Here in BC, we can only hunt coon during the day.......no night hunting allowed.
Wondering, just what does a coon squaller do? What does a coon do when hearing it? and why?
Do you have to locate the coon before using a squaller or do you squall to locate one while hunting / hiking?

kinda hard to hunt a nocturnal animal in the day haha. a coon squaller is just a call. mostly it is used to get the coon to look donw from a tree. so if you cant see the coon in a tree that your dog is treein on, you can squall and they will sometimes get curious as to what is goin on and look so you can atleased see your dgo isnt slick treein. all a squaller does is mimick a coon in distress. so when the coon hears that call, they think another coon is in trouble or some damned thing. they have looked for me when i have squalled, pretty nice tool to get them to look

I think we are going to have to get us some Spoke! I find we get alot of den trees running in the day light. Sure would be a blast to hunt at night!

i have seen the boars jump right out of the tree when you start squallerin so in one way it saves you a bullet
