Don't know what an U.A. is,,, but if it's a drug test I'm all for it..
Just makes sence,, but making sence doesn't seem matter these days.

No one should have to take a urine test unless their behavior indicates something amiss. Its far too intrusive.

Well,,,,,, I'd say that making a career out of welfare is a damn good indication that something's "amiss", and most folks on welfare do exactly that.
Nothing wrong with a hand up, but I for one am sick and dam tired uf supporting those that won't work.
If I'm going to give a person my hard earned money, I feel I have every right to know it's not being spent on drugs.. If that's to "intrusive" then don't take the money,,, get a job and spend the money any way you like..

It's pretty damn intrusive to have all Federal, state, county, city, sales tax, property tax, Mud tax and any other "revenue stream" our leaders can come up with to pick our pockets to give to a drugie. I say let him pee in a bottle and if he is traumatized by it to go on Oprah or Dr. Phil and talk about it.

AMEN to all the above "but the one"!! The only ones who speak out and have some fear are the ones already guilty an have somthing to hide. Where I work I pop on a wiz quiz I lose my income I think it's only fair for those also living on my income to have to pee clean to get paid. If they can't so long, one less we all have to support!

I agree let them take a test. I disagree with the above though. Just because I object to an unreasonable search and seizure doesnt mean I'm guilty of something. Fish and Game searches my rig occasionaly when out hunting. I object but am not guilty of any thing. As a retired cop I stand by the assertion that peoples rights are precious and should not be infringed upon. The mere protest of a government action does not mean I am guilty of something or have something to hide. If more people would stand up to the government we would not be in the shape we are in.

Bear hunter I was referring to them gripping about haveing to pee to get the welfare check. Not to every thing in general. Should have made that clear, but I didn't think what I wrote could have been taken like it was. Thanks for reading so far into it.

AMEN Charlie,
Spend your own money however you please, but don't take money people work hard and give your lazy behind just to keep your oxygen robbing carcass alive and buy just anything you please. It makes them feel criminal I guess to take a piss test but taking everyone else's money and spending it like you earned it is criminal.

Persons with real disabilities excluded in the previous statements (except for the piss test)

P.S. Stupidity, Chronic Laziness and Constant Pregnancies are not disabilities.

Guys, what I meant to say is that its not right for any of you to have to whiz in a bottle to get and/or keep your job, unless there is some indication that you are coming to work intoxicated. In fact, I think its outrageous. BEAR HUNTER got what I meant.
Just because you have to put up with an outrage doesn't mean you can fix the outrage by imposing it on someone else. I don't know about you guys but if I were in bad enough shape to be looking for welfare, I'd be pretty humiliated just asking. Don't need some bureaucrat sniffing my piss in addition! Save the tests for the people who act intoxicated.

I "got" exactly what you ment,, and I "ment" exactly what I said..

I'll wager that 50% of welfare in this country is fraudulent,,, probably closer to 75%,,, and I don't see it as an infringement on ones rights to have to verify that they're not breaking the law before recieving the hard earned dollars of others...

Have we become such a weak, PC society that taking a simple urin test leaves an emotional scar?? I assure you that if I was so desperate that I had to ask for help in feeding my family and keeping a roof over their heads,, peeing in a cup wouldn't be much of an issue...

From what I've seen and observed threw out the yrs is that if someone complains about a urine test it's because they have something to worry about or they might down the road as a casual user. Most are given on site so there is no time taken from your day and you get paid while you are taking it.
