Hi my name is Noah Riley. I live in Columbia Falls,Montana. I have been going out with my dad since I was 7 , but this is my first year with a license. I just wanted to share some pictures of my first season. I run American Leopard Hounds, and this is what they treed for me this past year. This is me and my dog Cammy with a 38 pound bobcat. This is my first bobcat of the season. Here is a cool picture of one in the tree. This is the same cat further away. This cat was treed after the season closed, hope to see it next year. Here is our dog Bolt treeing away. Here is Cammy after a long but rewarding chase.

Hey Noah. Congrats to you and your Leopards. I started hunting with my Dad when I was 5 or 6 yrs old. I'll be 70 next birthday Dad will be 95 his next. We have many great memories of hunting together. We don't get to go much any more, due to Dads partial loss of hearing. I urge you to treasure and enjoy the opportunity to hunt with your Dad. Good luck, enjoy, and have fun. I'll hush now

My first Bobcat It was a cold December morning and my dad and I were on our way to our favorite bobcat hunting spot. The thermometer on the truck was going back and forth from 0 to -8 degrees We drove up the road to check all of our traps unsuccessfully. We drove up a different road to check our other traps and just before we got to them we found what we thought to be a fresh bobcat track. We put our female Leopard Hound Cammy on the track, although we feared she might not be able to move the track from the little scent a bobcat would leave in this freezing weather. Cammy milled around a little on the road then took of up the hill and started to open up. We drove up the road to check our other traps with no luck then we came back to listen and watch. Cammy had gone over 8 hundred from were she started the track and had started treeing. So we started up the hill with two of Cammy's pups she had had the previous year. We worked up a good sweat and the frigid morning air felt good on our hot faces. When we got to the tree I looked up to see a big, beautiful bobcat looking down at me . I harvested that bobcat that day and was happier than any day before. I had been to many bobcat and lion trees in the past five years, but was very happy to finally pull the trigger! That was a day to remember! I hope you enjoy reading this story. thanks, Noah
