Portable kennel panels

Postby larry » Sun Sep 12, 2010 11:13 pm

Lookin to build some portable panels for this years lion season, $150 a pop just seems rediculous to get 4 walls. I have a pretty good idea how i might do it, but if anybody has built their own, lightweight 6X10 or 10X10 type chain link/page wire panels i'd love to hear about it or see em. thanks

I used square tubing and stock pannels, my brother used square tubing and goat pannels. Cheaper that way if you do your own welding, they are built tough.

I bought a hundred foot of roll of chain link and had some old pipe out back. I cut my poles and drilled holes so i could drop carter key in them to hold them together and then the wire i rolled out and cut to length and then slid a piece of rebar down each end and fastened the wire to it with zip ties. I left the wire off the poles so i could break eerything down. With the rebar in the wire i can just roll it up and then then pull the pins on the poles and they break down as well. Makes it alot easier to handle and takes up alot less space.
