Have you ever been able to pay for a flight, over the phone with Delta?

I use delta to fly my pups out of the breeders. I flew two pups out of oregan in april of this year and one out of buffalo ny to here in NM. Just give them your credit card info and its done...becareful with some of the flights because if they use thier smaller companies you can only book 24 hours in advance.

I have used delta dash in the past and also air cargo. I think sometimes it depends on the airport. I know too many times that when having a hound shipped in they quote you one price till the bugger lands and then its usually alot more then you planned. Prepay is the only way to go.

Delta is 24 hours in advance also. No problems here but it was prepay.

I got my pup Jake in march using delta. They quoted $250 but had to change a flight. He arrived an hour later but price was only $160 on arrival. I did have to send an extra $50 to the breeder for the crate and health certificate.

Weird... When I talked to Delta they said they would not take a credit card at the time of booking. They would at the airport.... So you guys are able to give it at the time of booking? Am I reading that right?

Thanks

Only times I have flown dogs I used delta dash and I always paid when I picked the pup up at the airport.

They wouldn't take payment until the dog was dropped off. Thats what they told me anyway. It was the same deal. They quoted 200 and it was 180 +/-.
