For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God - 1 Corinthians 1:18 (NIV)

I think I like brand A.They both have chicken-by-product as the #1 ingredient.I know that B says chicken as #1 but the ingredients are listed by weight.Once the moisture is removed from that chicken during process it will become more like the fourth or fifth ingredient based on weight.Deceptive labeling.I also think that mineral protienates are chelated forms of minerals that are more digestible for the dog.Protien can be hard on kidneys but generally only if it is a poor, low quality source of protien that is not highly digestible like corn gluten meal which is 60% protien.Meat sources of protien are by far the best.Make sure to provide plenty of water for your dogs when feeding high protien.

If its by weight and not volume I'd still take "B". There are alot more feathers per ounce than raw meat. Also by the theory you're getting alot of corn with "A" assuming its measured by wet weight. 31% is high. I feed 26% protien and 18% fat.

Honestly,I don't like feeding any food with by products let alone by-products as the #1 ingredient.Nothing wrong with having ground corn as a second ingredient as long as meat MEAL is #1 (preferably a named source like chicken, pork etc.)
