that got cease and desisted by Drew..Now that things have calmed down, and that hes no longer owner...You good people on here that remember speak your peace about this, since the topic has recently arose again.


TO refresh memories..

The sticker was made shortly before Plott days of 05'
The sticker was displayed on my truck at Plottdays for those who remember
(with permission of Drew of course.)

I want to know who feels that I was purely trying to profit from this site
and also who feels that i was just trying to do a good thing for the people of this site and to also provide identification at bigg game events in my area of people who use/enjoy/used to enjoy this site.

Id like to see at least 3 poll answers..Hope theres still people on here who remember.

When you take it on yourself to go and have decals made and sell them without the permission of the owner that is wrong. Did you contact me before you went and paid to have them done? NO.

You said there was a post on the forum concerning your plans and it was my problem if I didn't see it. I did not read every post made on the forum then and still don't on the CoonDawgs.com forum.

You never picked up the phone to call me, PM me, or email about doing this.

As I told you on the phone the night I told you to cease and desist, even if you contacted me about doing it, I would have told you no as I was making plans to have decals done.

Your answer was, you were tired of waiting and was taking the bulls by the horn. I expected that from a 17 year old, living at home with mommy and daddy and not living in the real world with a family and full plate of things going on.

Just because you were tired of waiting didn't give you the right to go out and pay to have stickers made to sell.

I had just took ownership of the forum a few months earlier and was in the process of building a complete website around the forum and told you first things first.

If you remember correctly, who was paying the license fee for the forum? You or me? That would be me.

If you remember correctly, who was paying for the hosting of the website and forum?
You or me? That would be me.

If you remember correctly, who was paying for the server security softwares and server maintance?
You or me? That would be me.

You weren't paying 1 damn cent for the cost of the site, the running of the site or anything. Yet you wanted to make decals of the site and sell them.

Who was paying the yearly license fee for the forum? Where was any money coming in to help support the cost.

Until you pulled that stunt, I had plans to sell decals to help maintain the cost.

I was selling CoonDawgs.com decals at the times (still do) to help pay the cost in maintaining the server.

I told you on the phone that if you went and made NIKE decals and sold them it would be wrong. What you were trying to do was the same thing.

Now that I do not own the site, I am sure the new owner would not be happy if I went and started making this site's decals and started selling them myself for profit.

2 years later you still don't think you were doing wrong.

It kills me that some people who use these free sites and free forums that is being paid out of someone elses pocket for your enjoyment, pull BS like this.

Buddy paid me for this site and the new forum. I also host the site and forum for Buddy.......I do not see anything on here that helps Buddy pay for all his cost he has invested in the site and forum.

Buddy has one headache not to worry about and that is his server cost and maintaince..........Since he pays to host from me, he doesn't incrue server fees and cost in case the server fails or breaks down like the nearly $800 that I incrued in May due to a server that failed.

That is something I eat and things like the CoonDawgs.com decals that are for sale help..........Every penny counts.

But I think Buddy would have an issue if a forum member decided to go out and make decals to Buddy's site and sell them.

If anyone should profit from decals of this site, it should Buddy as he shoulders all cost to provide this site free to everyone to use.

Let me ask this, If I went out and made decals of UKCDOGS.com to sale, do you think UKC would have an issue with it?

You bet your ass they would.

liek i have posted in another that stivker of the dog drew u did not own it or have the copy right for it i make stickers my self so i know a little bit about this u can find that dog on a tree on around 4 other sticker sites on the internet being sold for 6 to 8 dollors a piece so go and get mad at them to since u own it and all so about the only thing i see here is ur paneys are in a wad so i would hust drop it and leave it alone we know u both dont liek each other so just dont talk to one another

Erick when you post a site name or address, then that is the a problem.

That what was Brandon was also doing with it.

Try and go and make a decal of the public domain image and then underneath it have UKCDOGS.com to sale for your own profit.

Don't tell me that is not wrong. You can not use a site's name or address and market it knowingly as the site or name and profit from it.

It was not about the design, it was about him using the site address and site name to profit when the owner of the site should be the only one profitting from the site name and address.
