Dog's first coon!

So this was kinda funny. I was at school going to lunch when I get a text message from my brother who was at home. the text says, "dude your dog just treed a coon". now me and my brother joke around quite a bit so I was expecting this to just be a prank right. Well he ended up sending me a picture on my phone with it in the tree and on the ground after he shot it.

You see my dog food is in a bin next to the kennel. Next to that is a small pine tree. Well as much as I can figure is that the coon was eating the dog food when my dog surprised it and it jumped straight into the little pine tree where my little gyp kept it treed for about ten minutes, until my brother woke up and discovered this wonderful little mistake.
So the dog that would completley ditch a coon track and try and chase a cat, is now my multi tasking little hound. what a great day lol thanks for listening to me ramble on. I wish I had picturtes to post, but I accidently erased the ones he sent me.
