We have two house dogs.. I have a nine year old red heeler and a three year old bloodhound.. She is the goofiest dog you will ever meet.. But let me tell you that she is Queen Bitch of the whole place... She runs the show around here.. All dogs answer to her....

Here she is..

We can't justify feeding another breed of dog just for a pet. We had a Rat Terrier, but he hunted, and he was way to stinky to have inside. So the hounds double as our housedogs as well....

Actually only Crash is housebroken, when he's not all dirty from hunting, he comes in and visits.

I mean it gets pretty creepy to have him stand there and watch like that all the time... Like "I'm clean mom, can I come in now?"

Mel, I know that Jane makes one good house dog.

This is my 9 year old JRT house dog. We take her hunting as well. Has more kill to her then most hounds I have seen.

all of our hounds hang around the house at one time or another during the week, just some more than others. My female plott is awesome when it comes to being inside she knows what is expected and does just that.

Airedales, Rex & Rosy. In the house and outside. And 2 dogs are enough for me in the house. But , I do love them to death, having them inside makes the home sweeter.

Booth my hounds are indoor pets as well as hunters. Dakota our 6 month old Majestic is a whopping 70 pounds and our 5 year old Bluetick Raven is 110 (a little out of shape)

Mel, your hounds look good on the 2008 calendar! Gonna try for the 2009? Nora, don't you have a sibling of Raven's out of Eastern Music? You were in one of my calendars too if I recall correctly.
