Those of you who are feeding meet, how much are you giving them each day?

Have fed sportmix 24/20 and 24/18. Both nice feeds. Dogs eat a lot less of it than they did on Purina. Slick shiny coats and perform well

I’m with you—Sportmix does the job nicely. Dogs hold weight well, coats look sharp, and you're not constantly topping up the bowl like with some of the cheaper feeds. I’ve sold dog food 45 yrs now, about every brand that’s sold in the state of Louisiana. All dog food that’s being milled now days will get the job done on any kind of dog down in this part of the country if the dog is in good health. I think that would be true for any part of the USA. Think about it like this, dog feed companies don’t want to sell you a few bag of feed. They want to sell you dog food for a life time. It’s not to their advantage to sell something that want work. I’ve found the problem with livestock feed of any kind is the condition the animal is living in.

Like it has been said you can not do than meat but you need organ meat for a complete mean. Some fish is great also.

You can buy 10 lbs beef tripe for 10$’ I don’t know how much you should feed. Would have to mix some canned vegetables with it.
