Tom,
I PM'ed you. I will try to get pictures up when I get a extra chance. It was higher then 1996 and more stuff was lost. I do not know if my parents will re-build or not. I think they will clean up and sell. Doing it twice is just to much for them.

SO SORRY FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.. I JUST CANT BELIEAVE HOW IT FLOODED THERE. THERE WAS A HOLLYWOOD FILM FILMED THERE YEARS AGO CALLED THE RING OF FIRE, DID YOU KNOW THAT..... VERNIONA IS A VERY BEAUITFUL LITTLE LOGGING TOWN WITH LOTS OF REAL HISTORY.. IF YOU ASK ANY OF THE REAL OLD TOWNS PEOPLE MAYBE THEY CAN TELL YOU ABOUT THE OLD HERMIT THAT LIVED FOR MANY YEARS IN A HUGE OLD GROWTH DOUGLAS FIR STUMP JUST OUT SIDE TOWN.. My mom has lived there since 76. I have the Ring of Fire, kind of an old move but a good one. It is not much of a logging town any more. Most of the people that live there are from Intel and just like the town. Not any more, I bet they pack up and move back to portland...
