If this just shouldn't be here, feel free to delete it, as it has nothing to do with dogs, has something to do with someone who likes 'em: me. If you are the one in a thousand I will describe, it also has to do with you.

I was in a band for years called "pegtop". I have some pegtop CD's that I am offering for free to any one that would like one. It is not a high percentage of people that like pegtop and I dont expect to find many here (it seems to be about one person in every thousand who hear us that will list us as one of their favorite bands). Yet, I do know one houndman out in Colorado that really likes the music, so, just in case there is another one somewhere, the CD is free for the asking. I will even pay the postage. My Gift to another dog lover.

The band is three people: acoustic guitar, electric bass, and dumpster drums (on one CD "The Great Reverse" the snare drum is a fishing tackle box), vocals, harmonica. It has been clasified at times as Christian Folk Rock. The lyrics are a little too honest in some songs to be accepted as Christian music by some folks, but it is about life, which, as far as mine goes, includes Jesus.

If you have an interest so far, I can probably loose some of you by sending you to the myspace site a fan in New York set up for pegtop.
Go to Myspace, search on "pegtop" and listen to a couple tunes. If you are still interested send me an email or a pm with your adress, and I will send you a CD.

Hey Chris,
Alot of moms like the music for some reason. Next is certain metal heads and punk dudes, then intellectuals. I dont understand any of it actually. They like the music a lot better than I do and it is completely unlike any of their other music.

Does your mom have the Christmas CD "THE GIFT"? "THE GREAT REVERSE" or our live recording "FIVE LIVE". These are the three I have copies of. IF she doesn't have "THE GIFT" , give me her adress and I will send her one. You can tell her that a christmas present from you is coming in the mail.

If she is in West Virginia, that would be excellent, because I am hoping to send one to every state and I dont have that one yet.

David,
How are ya doing? Where are ya hangin' yer hat these days? We've gotten 3 cats so far this winter. One run was a real long one and the others were shorter with the last one being a "pop-up".

Chris, sorry for the delay, I cant always get to a computer. It will be in the mail today.

Two Pipe, I been thinking about you guys out there & figured it would be a good year for the cat hunter so far. There have been a lot of years when we didn't even have snow yet by this time, and the swamps were still a trap waiting for you to step on the pan. Not as good a year this year for the trapper. At least you will be able to tell where the sets are, and that sure helps. Should have a good crop of new cats next year.
keep going strong, and I hope this is your best year ever.

Thanks Chris. I hope you and your mom can get something out of it.
I gotta ask a favor though. Whatever you do, dont let Jesus get ahold of this CD (the gift). If he ever hears what we did to some of his birthday music, I am afraid my chances might be slimmed quite a bit. Please, no one give him a CD player for his birthday.

A little late, as usual, but this Christmas CD, quite possibly the worst Christmas album ever recorded (it's worth owning just for that fact alone), can now be downloaded at:
