Postby houndhunter40 » Tue Feb 05, 2008 1:09 pm

What bloodlines work the best on big game, that are exceptional track dogs with super noses, that can smoke a track.

According to your add or adds around the world wide web sounds like a granddaughter out of "X" JR would make a great one!

Guess it would depend on where and which specific BIG game you are going to try out and then its still wide open and might be dictated more by your preference of breed and whats working around your area.

For me I'm having good luck with about anything and everything on deer. The same dogs stick with moose pretty well too! For me I know white doesn't look as fast as dark colors on the football field but just like last call looks are deceiving! I've seen alot of WALKERS smoke big split hooved critters. So its WALKERS for speed.
Never let school stand in the way of my education.

I think all breeds have a few good strains that produce fine hounds in it. There are a lot of factors that can change and make a dog good in one region and not worth S--t in another.
