What type of country do you hunt?

Postby centralORhunter » Fri Nov 07, 2014 1:41 am

I was wondering what kind of country do you guys hunt? I was mainly wondering for Bobcats. Deep timber rock cliffs or flat ground?

The key to bobcat hunting is to hunt where they are at now that may sound like a stupid statement but bobcats live in all habitats if there is a food source. Find the food and you will find the cats. Dewey

There is aways a lot of smoke blow with the egos and ignorance that people choose to hold onto. There are a few guys that do tree a unbelievable amount of bobcats. They are guys that hunt only bobcats and have dogs bred that they have hunted with for years. 2010 was a year that the dogs were doing good, all young. I kept a record that year and it was the best that I have ever had that I keep records all year. 106 bobcats caught. That I know of some guys out here that do better than that but don't talk to many people. Which is a lot smarter than I do. It is a world of difference with some hunters and their dogs. One has to leave his ego and dogs at home and spend a lot of time with a top bobcat hunter to really see what the difference is and yes they do hunt a lot, it is who they are and what they do. Dewey
