Plott Hound Strain? Piccosin, Pikasson?

I am curios if anyone has heard of a strain of plotts out of South Carolina I believe. From my understanding they were Picossin, Pikossin, Piccosin, something of that nature and were a larger breed of plotts that were 65-75 lbs in size. My father in law used to have this strain years ago and they were a damn good line of hounds. The name may be tied to a mountain or mountain range in that area. He had a female out of SC and they found a male out of the same strain up in British Columbia. They had one litter and with in 2 years the whole litter had been killed by cars, bears or a freak accident. They were never able to find them again and that was 20-25 years ago. I am sure the line no longer exists, I am just curious if anyone knows anything about it. Any help regarding that line at all would be helpful

Ola Forbes was the fellow that had them. he has passed on several years ago. far as I know the "strain" has faded with him
the name was Pocossin.. for the Swamps in his area.
