Reloading the dirty-30

So I'm wondering if a pointed round will feed through a lever action. I have a marlin I can't remember the model. But anyway I have nosler E-tips and I was going to load a few rounds so I can carry it on my horse.
I know I can't put more than one in the tube. Just wondering if anyone has done it and how the gun functioned.

Why not try the Leverevolution ammo with the polymer tip. I think it's also a boattail. They say they're good for 150-200 yards. I wouldn't risk putting pointed rounds in the magazine tube unless I felt like a trip to the ER or morgue.

Well we have to shoot lead free ammo here in commiefornia.
I would only put one round in the tube at a time.

Try the Hornady MonoFlex bullets. It's the same as the lever revolution but it's Lead-Free.

Well I wasn't going to get into this since its one of those areas a guy could screw up.
But here's your simple safe solution. Just feed the round in by hand single shot style. I guess if your real cautious you could have one round in the chamber and one in the tube. Or find another load. I haven't looked but bet there's something out there in 30 cal. Round nose. Non lead . good luck
