By some estimates the ten year war cost 4 trillion dollars. How many Americans pay federal income tax, 85 million by one online source that I found.
4 trillion divided by 85 million is 47 thousand dollars! If you pay taxes that is the amount that you will pay for the ten year Iraq war.
If your wife also works and pays taxes you can double that number.
It just makes you want to invade another country doesn't it.
The war cost YOU as much as 47 thousand dollars, do you feel 47 thousand dollars safer? ..lol..
So how much did it cost to kill one terrorist? 4 trillion divided by 26 thousand is 153 million dollars.
It cost the American tax payers 153 million dollars to kill each terrorist.
