Here in Wyoming, as well as many other states, it is required that hunters on private land have written permission in their possession. I am curious if any of you men have a standard boilerplate type card you use for a person to print and sign their name with the conditions of permission clearly stated.

I've been considering having some business type cards made up where a person can print and sign their name along with a ranch name or brief property description. All of my contact information would be on the front side with terms of permission and land owner names on back. I would give each land owner a card so they would have a way to contact me.

What does everybody use and how do you word your permission slips?

I just have the land owners sign the back of my hunting license .

I've been thinking the same thing. I was just going to put a notebook together of some sort with sigs and dates with an above short paragraph mentioning what I'm getting permission for. And then I leave them my business card so they can contact me. I'd be curious what you come up with

I have seen multiple different options of these. The one that I used for a while stated that I was liable for any damage that I caused and that the landowner was not liable for anything that happened to me as a result of my actions while on their property. It was about the size of a business card like you say and had a place for both signatures and my info. We both kept one them like you say. I have just been going back to verbal contracts, but that can get you in trouble.
