FRTHC Bobcat Contest

FRTHC is sponsoring a biggest bobcat hunt for the months of December-January-February.

Entry fee is $10.00 Per FRTHC Club Member or All Non Club Members. This is open to the entire State of Oregon Only to include both Western and Eastern Oregon with HOUNDS, no trapped or snared bobcats allowed.The entry fee is expected to be post marked for each month on the last day prior to each months hunt. Example, December's hunt, you would need to have your entry postmarked on November 30th. and so on. FRTHC will have a 60/40 payout with the winner receiving 60% and the Club keeping 40%. In the event of a tie, the payout will be split 50/50

Annual Membership is just $10.00 per family so why not join our club while you're at it!

We are on the honor system and will accept a digital scale readout / photo of both weight and bobcat. If possible? It would be preferable to have a State Certified Scale weight slip.

December bobcat hunt winners.

First place....Larry Beggs....25.50 pounds

Second place....Larry Beggs....24.64 Pounds

Third Place...... Dewey Walton....23.75 Pounds

Fourth Place.....Mike Martell....23.15 Pounds

Fifth Place......Heath Sewell.....21.0 Pounds

Pay out is 100% of the paid entry fees, first place gets 60% and second place getting 40%

FRTHC has voted on presenting the three month combined weights winner with a Savage 17 HMR w/accu-trigger- Blued barrel- composite stock. This is a $200.00 rifle plus the cash, making this competition something to work for! Congratulations Larry Beggs and all other contestants!

Turn in your monthly weight slips! You never know how the combined weight will work over the season! The December top four bobcats had a difference of about two pounds each. You can snap a picture with your cat on the scale on your cell phone and forward it to me
