You guys that used to hunt but can't anymore have trouble sleeping? Man I don't know if it's that time of year or what but here lately Ive been absolutely struggling to get any kind of decent sleep. I lay awake at night reminisce about turning out dogs. I sure do miss the feeling of cracking open that dog box. Sometimes I can almost make it through a whole day with out thinking about it on some level. Not here lately though, it's on my mind all day and into the night. Oh well, I wouldn't trade what I got now for a dog box full of all stars. Anyhow, happy hunting fellas.

Still hunting and have that problem. I hear red wine helps. Not a bad thing as long as you keep believing your doing it I guess. Good luck.

Tanner give me a call let's go. You need to see scout run. He has caught 3 of the last 8 on the ground. I still have trouble sleeping if I don't go out and I have dogs.

Share your bed with a retired hound. Works for me!

I have trouble sleeping but think its old age .I use to get off work and sleep 5 hours and jump out of bed.I'd bitch about my older hunting buddy taking so dam long to get ready! Now i can't sleep and have to drag my butt outta bed.The mountains are steeper and the canyons are deeper and its to dam hard to find a cat hound that's a keeper!
I guess i just don't like getting old ! LOL
