Does anyone work on DC30s?

I had another dc 30 stop working yesterday, that makes 2 this year. Is there any company, shop, buddy, friend of a friend that works on these anymore? I got the dreaded solid red light. I tried upgrading the software and it will quit at 8% every time. Can not turn it off. Tried unplugging the battery. Turned it on and back to solid red light. Battery went dead and when I plugged it into the charger I got one red light and one that looks a little purple??
The other one turns on but has a steady fast blink. The handheld will communicate with it but seems to be no gps signal. I changed the gps unit and no difference?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
