puppy walking funny

my buddy has a 8 week old walker and she like walks on her front toes and not her feet. looks like her front legs are bent and and she just is always putting pressure on her toes and not her hole foot any ideas

Sounds like Carpal Flexural Deformity...

I'd take a stab and say she's overweight and/or growing very rapidly.

If she's on puppy food switch her to Adult food, and don't feed her too much, and make sure she is in the sun. You can supplement her with Fish Oil to help, if he's giving any other supplements he should stop. Also wood or concrete flooring can make it worse.

I have heard of that disorder, and seen it in one dog. In the pup I saw it in, they switched to a lower protein food, and limited it's playtime until it got better. After a while they situation went away.

One of my 6 month old females had this same thing in one leg as a small puppy. You could never tell now. She was just too big and fat being out of a litter of 2.
