badgers again ?

Post by come-hunt »

Several years ago about fifty to be exact I shot two badgers with the intent of skinning them for the fur. After about 1/2 mile of carrying them over my shoulders along with the the rifle and them weighing about twenty lb's a piece and the unbelievable smell (worse than a skunk ) I changed my mind and left them in a ditch near the road.
My question is what is the relationship of a badger to a wolverine :?:
I understand wolverines are real serious fighters and stink bad. IMO They also look like a big badger. Any kin or is it my imagination?
I can make 'em go and I can make 'em Whoa !
God makes 'em do.
I'll take Jesus, you can have the field

They are in the same family of Mustelidae. Also includes weasels, mink, martin, fisher, otter, ferrets, and probably a few others I can't think of at the moment.
