..seriously?whats america gone to...?
recently a sgt. was killed in iraq by an ied..his son attended my school and when he graduated he joined the marines..today when they brought the remains back to town from iraq it was a huge thing, everyone in the elementary school, middle school, high school, and kindergarten lined the road with an american flag in everyones hand while they drove through with the remains of sgt.pharris..everyone was silent as police escorted the hurse through town...then i find a poster for a protest at the services for him, they said it isnt right for men and women to be dieing in vain for homosexuals and other sinners to be free,do they not realize with out wonderful men and women like sgt.pharris they would not enjoy the things they do?well they planned a protest and i know a ton of people went to kick some a** to anyone who dared say anything against sgt.pharris,he was a great man..who would have the nerve to say he died in vain and protest that?not only was it people doing this but it was a church...wow...................not even sure what to say to people like that, other than some nasty things....

Sadly, Fred Phelps and his crew of degenerates from the "Westboruogh Baptist Church"
are nothing but a bunch of terrorists hiding behind the cloth. they have pulled that junk way too many times and got away with it.. and his daughter got in a big legal hassle in Nebraska over her son stomping on a Flag.
One bright spot is the Patriot Guards have helped to isolate the protests.
The ACLU has gone too far in protecting those sorry degenerates
Just my opinion

A VERY SAD state of affairs when these idiots go around saying what they do . I am a disabled vet that fought for their right to maintain FREE SPEECH
Yet when I Read and Hear what they are doing it brings a tear to my eye . How anyone can BELITTLE an AMERICAN that gave his life for this country is beyond comprehension . Makes you realize how many SICKO's we have in this country
Re: ..seriously?whats america gone to...?
Buster,
It's enlightening to see that some people still stand true to American values. I'm afraid if this funeral happened in a metropolitan area, the turnout would have been different.
America as a country is entering some really different times right now, regardless of who's in the White House. It seems our stew in the "melting pot" is getting a little watered down.

I wish these idiots would pull there head out. This fine men and women are fighting and dieing for thiers and our freedom. These people that use times like this to protest are the sickest scum that walk the earth. I know if I ever saw a man protesting the funeral of a man or women that was killed fighting for my rights I would have a hard time not hurting that protester very badly. The same would hold true if I saw someone desecrate our flag. This is our country 43,185,893 American Troops Have Died in War fighting for our rights they did not die in vain they dies heroes.
Its very simple if you dont love this country then leave and dont come back.

Easy guys. Realize that those people are using the freedoms that the man fought for. Them being there protesting is a show that the troop died for something. Freedom. You don't have to agree with them. They have the right to believe and see things as they wish. I'm a disabled veteran myself. You sometimes fight a thankless war. But, a soldier is not looking for a future thankyou, but its nice if you get one. Thank a vet today.

No them being there at a mans service and protesting is only showing that they are sick, chicken shit cowards....
I say thank you for serving your country and for what you have given so that we may stay free.
To desecrate an mans service is not exercising your freedoms its showing the world that you are nothing more them a sucm sucking coward and the lowest excuse of a human. And I for one will never stand by and let this happen.

I would of asked them to leave if they showed up to my son's event. It is a time for love not politics.

I'm another one, I could never stand by and watch this happen. Allowing these protests to happen is the same as agreeing with them. The first time they got away with it, enabled them to do it again! It's the same with watching someone burn the American flag. I'd like to take that flag and wrap it around their head while its burning. I choose to NOT be "politically correct" and make no excuses.
Eternal vigilance is the price of freedom
