Please remember that each dog is like us humans I am 6 foot 5 and wiegh 180 and that is my hunting weight...my brother is 6 foot 2 and 220 is his hunting wieght.
im 250 in my hunting weight- i been growing for 50 years - :) :) :) :)

anytime i cant put weight on a dog with dog food , i add some meat scraps and fat-
raw and frozen usually - a small amount seems to make a big difference -

if dogs run super hard - seem dehydrated - i put a little gravy in warm water--
they will drink that when they wont drink cold water -

whenever i have a dog that is off his feed -- i try a little chicken soup and rice or cooked hamburger and rice- feed it warm -

if they wont eat that - u need a vet -
when the tailgate drops

If I remember correctly the rice was only 12 or 13 dollars and I still have half a bag left stored in an extra refrigerator to keep bugs out of it.

Give your dog venison scraps. You'll notice a weight gain over night.
