Boycotting California because of "WILD JUSTICE"
This year a group of us were wanting to go to California for the fall bear hunt. Due to the hunter harrassment and unproffessionalism of the California game wardens we have all decided not to go. I'm sure this makes you guys in California happy to not have to deal with us but this is going to cost the state thousands of dollars. And I'm sure there are more people out there like us. Who do we write with our complaints? Who is going to care that has the ability to do something? Any ideas?
Don't buy the hype.

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

Those that were planning on hunting california should bring your money to Az, NM and Ut. The money that they lose may make a statement loud enough to regain more for your rights! And if you all save your reciepts and send a copy of them to the state of Ca and the media... it may be several times more dramatic.

I think its a great idea. You guys just need to call F&G and tell them what you are doing. Fish and Game is going broke. It wouldnt take much to break them completely. I wish we could get a majority of hunters and fisherman not buy a hunting and fishing license for 1 year. It would seriously get the point across to these bozo's that its the hunters who are paying their wages and providing money for game management.

I wish it would work like that but they would just get more funding from the HSUS and keep on rolling. Then to make up for the loss the next year you would see prices for your hunting and fishing license and for your tags triple. Then as more and more outdoorsmen stopped hunting and fishing here due to the out of control fees you would see more and more anti groups get into bed with or Fish and Game dept. What we need to do is get all sportsmen and women on the same page and fight this together. If we voted there bosses out of office and made sure to only vote in pro hunting officials we might stand a chance. We need to make it very clear to the people that run our state that sportsmen and women in this state spend more money in pursuit of or hobby then in any other state there is. We at the same time put more money into our states sales tax fund then any other group of people in this state and any other. We have the power, we have the numbers, we have the money, what we need in unity.

It's not hype or "TV bullshit" when they refer to legal hunters as "poachers". You can say what you want but it's not good for hunters. As far as it being "my loss", I was trying to find a way to help you guys out. I'll go some where else with my money and have fun.
Idaho, requires you to apply, send them a bunch of money and recieve a refund (if you don't draw)to hunt hounds there. I love hunting Idaho and want to retire there someday. But I won't be hunting there this year.
Don't buy the hype.

that is excactly what it is...............HYPE. period. 1% of stops from dfg are what they are showing on tv. the other 99% arent worthy enough for tv. dont construe this post as my approval of what cadfg is doing with that show. i have hated cadfg way longer than this show has been on for a variety of reasons. # 1 the wardens are nothing but little sissies with a badge. scared to be in the woods alone past dark! im not sure what a non res license goes for but i do know that for around 30 bucks we can get a bear tag and run them without a draw or special permit. yeah yeah , we have a bunch of libs running the state but we still have sunshine 350 days a year and something that idaho does not...............................big ol bad ass hogs!
