This is making contact not running from it. Now I know the bear is a lead bear, but do you really think it would make a difference. These two little dogs would chew the shit out of any Grizz, and guess what, they are still alive.

Actually... It does make a difference, a big difference. The Dogs know the game and so does the Bear. Again where's YOUR video of YOUR dogs pulling hair on a Grizzly.... Thought so...

You can't compare the bear on a lead to what happens on the the g-bears turf. Open terrain is nice to run bears in, but I would guess all the country wasn't that open, just the spot the video was taken. Two hours is a good run , and definately there was a few dogs alot closer then 20 feet thats foresure. Really only the people there know the whole story.

Great comparison of apples to oranges. I am thinking that my 150 lbs buddy and I can knock the crap out of Brock Lesnar if you tie him to a chain and let us run in and out at will. I'm not saying those little dogs are full of hell an doing a great job, I owned one and they are the toughest little buggers around, but like I said... apples to oranges.

sory oys i will not post anymore of this griz bay up as it goes against what i believe should be available for antis to see on the internet. BigGameHunter, Rebel2 and others here are absolutely right. Teeth and claws are removed. and let me tell you(this is a litle secret, so dont tell anyone) Those bears have been fried with electrisity and/or shot at with rubber bullets every time they showed agressive behavior towards dogs. LOOK closely at the clip what heppens when that Jagd goes in for a bite. There is NOTHING in this whole wide world that those bears fear more than dogs and thats not because of fur pullin' Jagds its because of insane cruelty to them bears.

Dont get me wrong, I have deep respect for them Jagds grit, but it does not take more than a redfox in a den, to take them out of buisness for a couple of weeks....

I have been invited to train my dogs on chained up russian bears, like the one in Catches youtubeclip, but I respectfully answered no thanks, because this has absolutely nothing to do with the challenges they are up agains in the real world.

Big Game Hunter thanks for pointing out some of those things that were missrepresented. Those dogs, not all I guess, but at the minimum 4 are in there pulling hair everytime that bear moves. If they are in the open and the bear has nothing to protect herself with then what is she backed up against? Looks like tree roots to me. The object of the game is to get the bear stopped, that bear doesn't want to travel too far from where she is until the dogs are tied back. Those dogs stopped the bear. She is protecting her back side for a reason. I would imagine those that are questioning it have never seen any dogs in a live setting on a grizz,let alone caught one with their own dogs.

Also no one should be breed bashing on the dogs here either, I know for a fact that there is a Plott, a B&T, as well as a couple of walkers in there doing the work as well.

hey reed thanx for the input in total id say 3/4 of the dogs did most of the work, but for any mutt to stick around for a whirl wind, dust storming sow grizzly deserves alot of credit cause that bitch was not happy. i could feel her growl from 40 yrds away, the ground would shake. i think i even shit myself when i grabbed my rebel dog and my buddies walker/plott cross outta there by the tail at 3 ft away. I seen what she ate for dinner the night before. I never wanna see them eyes that close again personally.

Rebel2 you have a fine pack of dogs and your dogs are doing great work. It takes a lot to work over a bear like that and I'm sure that was an exciting adventure. Please post any other videos you have on this site or PM me and I'll have you send them to me. Keep up the good work. There will always those who know more and have better, but most of us throughly enjoy the sport and respect other houndsmen.
