Re: Lewis and Clarks Pellet Gun
That is great! I've seen some interesting air guns even some cool air powered scatterguns. but that one is the best and given it's design date and the improvements just through better materials and manufacturing processes. why isn't some one producing this thing for small game ? or urban areas? that would turn the firearm laws upside down in many areas.
make shooting urban coyotes feasible. that may be the very reason they don't produce something similar. try locating a shooter in a urban environment shooting something like that. probably fairly loud but at 75 yds you could drop coyotes for awhile before they figured out which way to go.

Re: Lewis and Clarks Pellet Gun
Guys, go to pyramidair.com. I have a 45 caliber airgun. Kills an elk pretty good. Penitration is good in the ribs with lead ending in far side caught by skin like buckshot. It was about $700. I shoot the round balls but it shoots lead bullets and hollow points too. I bought a storage air tank that is basically a scuba tank wrapped in carbon fiber, about $750. It holds 3000 pounds of pressure. The scuba tank can load enough air for hundreds of shots. My gun, supergun, can shoot 6 full power shots with one loading of air. You can shoot more shots but not full power. The bullet travels at about 700 feet per second. Its about the same as buckshot speed. Mine drops about nine inches at 100 yards. No drop out to 50. The gun is extremely accurate. Same hole out to 50. It is a weapon but not a firearm, so firearm restrictions do not apply.
They have ten shot guns. And one inch calibers that can kill huge buffalo etc. The larger guns have less shots per air load. These are not pump guns. You have to load them with an air tank or bike pump. Check it out online. Each shot costs me about 0.11 cents.
