My vet told me 1/2 cc per 50 lbs, thats what I use, never had any problems with heartworm or a dog having a bad reaction to that amount.

The dose is 1/10 cc or ml. per ten lbs.Use cattle or swine 1% do not use plus. You can give this oraly or inject under skin. This a very light dose I give this to all my dogs monthly more if needed.Do not give collies.I start pups at about 16 weeks.Ol'Curt

X2!

We start our pups here at 10lbs which ends up being right around 16 weeks for the beagles. If you can get your hands on a turburcline syringe with a 16ga needle, it is as easy as pie to draw up. I just squirt it on the dog's food and it is as good as gold.
