Hey guys my names David Williams and I'm 15 and just got my first hound pup. She's a redbone english cross. Heres a pic of her after she tracked a hot dog to the tree, she's only 8 weeks but I'm hoping she'll turn out.

I might as well say that I plan on using her for coon, bobs, and more than likely lions. A problem in SD is that there are hundreds of lions in the hills and they are killing everything, but we can't use hounds for lions. Game and fish doesn't want to realize that using hounds would help control the population and would result in the taking of more mature lions. Well I hope to meet a lot of fellow hound hunters that will give me some advice throughout the training process.
