95 DEGREES AND NEVADA DESERT IN AUGUST. 4 YEAR OLD BOAR, BRING THOSE CANADIAN DOGS DOWN TO THE DESERT AND SEE WHAT THEY CAN CATCH.WITH A 20 BEAR LIMIT AND 6 SOW TOTAL QUOTA GOT TO GET WHAT YOU CAN.
Great job GETTERDONE. Nice to see you guys getting to hunt them there at all, I hope everything goes good and you guys can get a hunt every yr from here on out. Many guys dont know what its like to run bear in the type of country and the heat you guys have over there. Im sure with that 95 degrees temps you also have about what 5% humidity if your lucky. Thanks for sharing with us all.
For sure, it was a rough hunt. Long, hard, and hot. Not the biggest bear in the unit, but we sure earned it and the shooter was happy. 95 degree heat with no moisture in the ground, or the air, sure made the dogs work for what they got.
Me and my two young dogs that made the race, and their first bear. (as well as mine).
