Big Gammers from Northern (Central) California!
Hey all, haven't seen everyone in a while, as my Laptop took a dump on me, but, I think it's back up!
I think most everyone's already seen me around a time or two, but figured I'd just "offically" introduce myself, for those of those who don't know me.
I live in Dobbins, Ca. Bout an hour north of Sac.
We run Registered Walkers on Bear mostly, but also dabble in the UKC events and Coon hunting in our free time. We have 5 Walkers, a UKC English Redtick and a new UKC Bluetick from calblu! Just proving we're not color blind, we just prefer Walkers!
Happy Hunting all!

Thanks all. Glad to be back.
Robb, your boy is looking good! Ours are big now too, 8 months old... Sassy's our tallest dog, Buster is heaviest at about 55+ and Aspen's just a little spring pole. Runs like the wind, and love to pull some hair. She's the boss.
Here's the crew... as you can see they fit right in now...

Thanks Cassandra
He's a big strong pup at 65 pounds and 8.5 months Im sure he's done growing. I won't let him go over that...lol 60-65 pounds is his limit. He's by no means fat very cut and toned.
He handles well but he still has his own mind and can be very hard headed at times. I forsure picked the right dog. Im not bragging on him but he's like one of these dogs that figures stuff out real fast and can't do anything wrong it seems. Other than being too independent and a lil hard headed at times. He runs scent well, trees and very gamey. Not a week go by that he does not bring me dead stuff. Don't know how he catches them cause these are big fast jack rabbits, rats, doves, quail etc. He chews the heads off firt and then brings me the rest...lol Im looking to get his butt out with some proven dogs in the next month or so.
Your dogs are looking great... to bad you guys are not closer I think he needs that female to show him the ropes some. Hows hunting going with ya'll
Anyway glad your back..... Robb

He sounds great... Like a little Crash in the making. Crash was pretty hard headed when he was young. Still is though. You will not catch him if he's running a bear. He ran one for 3 days, had it caught on day one, but by day 3 it was long ahead of him. Too bad our others can't be like that... But it's a good thing. I think you'll have a nice young dog!
We have not been out since I took those pics, about 2 weeks ago. It's hot, nasty, and our hunting lics. expired on 6/30 and we are too lazy to go down and get them again We're just trying to keep sane and hurry up and wait for bear season to roll around... These pups wanna pull some big brown fur. Aspen's alreay struck a bear (actually two, and mom and baby ran up the road) so she's ready, wish I coulda let her down on em! I just hope the others can keep up with "the wind."

thanks Cassandra .. I hear ya on the weather. I try to get him in the woods by 5 am to get some work cause by 8 here in AZ it becomes brutal.
The pup will be 9 months by the end of month. Sometime in April 08 I want to bring in a walker female pup. By that time she can learn from my boy. Come Jan I will really start to look to have the other pup aboard in April. Keep eyes and ears open
