Short coon hunt

Took a friend, father in law, and younger bro in law out last night. Just roaded the Abe and Xbox. The dogs picked up some scent about 10 minutes after we put them out, ended up putting a coon up on the backside of a rock outcropping. We shot him out to the dogs, was about a 40-50 foot fall for the coon. So we skinned that one out and moved on, about 40 minutes later picked up some more scent. This time the dogs had to work a little harder, a few loopy loops later I was starting to think we had a bobcat. The dogs treed on top of a cliff 800 yards away from the road, 800 feet up in elevation. took about a hour to hike to them, when I got there my older Abe dog had managed to get himself hung from his back leg by some scrub oak, aside from being sore ande limping back to the jeep I think he will be ok. So all in all it was a nice productive night out.
