Strange But True

Post by dry ground »

This lion was caught last Friday 3/2/12 after I received a phone call from a gentleman that the lion had returned again and walked right thru his garage. This homeowner had notified me a few weeks prior about a lion that had walked up and over his camaro he had parked in his garage. I thought this story was a little strange till I seen the tracks for myself. We let the hounds go at 9:45 AM and they trailed the lion around some serious ledge country and up a canyon to the top of a ridge. My hunter and I were able to keep up good until we hit some deep snow up to our waist! After a 45 minute climb to the top we finally got to the tree. Hate to end the story here but the end of the hunt got a little western.

Congrats on the hunt! How are your toes? Remember leashes are cheaper than Kenetrek's. Couldn't resist

Thank's Ross, My toe's are fine, It's all the little bones that hold's them on that hurt's. I called Kenetrek today and I don't think they will sell me just one ( right) boot. They want me to buy a pair... Take -Care
