Any one seeing any thing yet

Postby dawger » Sat Apr 14, 2012 7:32 pm

I was out quite a bit in the last two weeks and never found a track. Are the bears moving
any place else?
If they're going to run trash, they better run to cath it!!!

Had two, young, 100-125 lbs range bears run down the main highway in front of me the other weekend on my way up to road the hounds. They we're coming down the hill from the backside of someones property, headed into someone else's yard. I'm sure looking for food.

I saw four yesterday. A mom and cubs, and then a pretty nice boar. All were down below the snow line, and were covering pretty good ground. Far less bear sign than normal though.

Last saturday found a 5.5" and a 3.5" track in the mud at my farm. Also found a trail on dry ground where all the grass was matted down so must be a few bear moving through the area. Nice to see since wife has bear tag.
