Old time bobcat hunter

Post by Maineiac »

Maine lost 1 of its grand old timers the other day. Roland E McLaughlin...lovingly refered to as Rollie Mack passed away at his home at the age of 91.He was a cat hunting legend locally here. He has joined his old bluetick Drummer up yonder. Rest in peace Rollie, you will be missed.

His Family and Friends will be in our Prayers!

Too many of the Old Masters are leaving us these days.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I know all too well what y'all are going through. Just as Mr. Carey said too many leaving us and not too many replacing them. Not that they could ever be replaced. Hound hunting seems to be a dying breed of people. Prayers go out for your loss.

Maineiac,

Thanks for remembering an old cat hunter. He was my uncle. There were a few running stories told at his funeral and I think maybe it is time for someone in the family to pick up the tradition.
