western oregon bucks

anyone ever hunt the late archery season in western oregon? Ive never tried that late season hunt and thought I would this year, is there much public land over there to hunt or do you have to know someone that knows someone that has a relitive that has a few hundred acres. Any help would be appreciated

The late season is the best chance you will have at a great black tail find the does and you will find bucks

Plenty of public land to hunt. As long as your not in the valley. Not the deer there used to be in the areas i hunt but still a good chance for a nice buck if you work at it.There are still a few places with a lot of deer. Good luck.
