Bobby Shives, Kaw River Rebel, Lipper bred dogs!

Postby petey9382 » Thu Dec 19, 2013 7:16 pm

Hello everyone,
My name is Pete McLaughlin. I am searching for men that are interested in dogs that are linebred on the Shive's Goldhill Lead, Kaw River Rebel, House's Lipper, and Yadkin River Lines of walkers. I live in Ohio with my uncles and they have harbored bloodlines for several years from Les Donley of Millersburg, OH. My uncle's have fallen Ill and cannot hunt anymore due to health. It has become very hard here to get permission to hunt due to the leasing of private land for whitetail trophy hunting. We have seed stock that I we are trying to promote because we feel the bloodlines should not be lost and the dogs deserve to be hunted. My uncle feels that they would be a huge contribution to the Walker breed. These are Ye Olde Big Game Bloodlines! These dogs go back to Shives' Goldhill Lead, Kaw River Rebel, and Lipper and his full sister Clearfork Babe in a five Generation Pedigree. It is amazing, It's like they stepped off the page of a history book. The pedigrees are CLEAN with little outside blood. They are the ultimate blend of Shetler's Sonny Boy (who made A.J. Wrights dogs which made Yadkin River) and Johnson's Banjo (one of the most prepotent "on wood" tree power dogs of yesteryear.) My grandfather and uncles personally have known Jim Meeks, Bobby Shives (who I met at walker days in NC as an old man in a wheelchair), and Joe house. My family has bred the Yadkin River line of dogs since the late 80's when they hunted with Champ and Chico, and my grandfather was the first to find, in his opinion, the greastest "nick" of his life, between the Yadkin River and Goldhill strains. Two closely related lines, bred separately, and brought back together. This is no joke and I have the proof. If you are interested in talking dogs with me or my uncle, please contact me at petey9382@yahoo.com. Thank you. Pete McLaughlin, Blindale Kennels of Ohio.
